Re-Is the "Seventeen mile Drive" up by Pebble Beach and Monterey, California worth going to see?

Ummm... not sure if it is worth it. There is a charge to drive on it. It is just basically a residential area with big old gated homes set back. It is beautiful but I think you could avoid it and just drive or bike down Ocean View Blvd. in Pacific Grove and then check out Pt. Lobos just south of Carmel and get the same kind of beauty. I would think you could find a bike rental place either in Carmel or Monterey.
