Super Bowl XXXIII (33) which was played on January 31, 1999 was the last time the Broncos appeared in a Super Bowl. They played against the Atlanta Falcons and won the game 34-19. John Elways was named the Super Bowl MVP and this was also his very last game in the NFL.
