How to maintain my TSH?
T3 and T4 are of little to no value in diagnosing thyroid disorders. Thyrotropin (TSH) is the definitive test. The TSH is among the most sophisticated and accurate laboratory tests ever developed. Although there is on-going discuss as to whether or not the normal range is too broad the 'narrow' range suggested by one respondent is far too rigid. Your TSH indicates hypothyroidism. If I had to have 1 chronic medical condition and if I was allowed to choose this condition I would choose hypothyroidism. This is treated with levothyroxine which is a molecular match to the T4 produced by the functioning thyroid gland. If I may be of further istance please let me know. I wish you the very best of health and in all things may God bless.
