I have recently met this guy in a local chat room?

Recently I started chatting with a guy in a local chat room. I ve done this before and even met some in person. Cant really complain cos nothing even came out of such meeting but at least I was treated decently.But there were a couple of cases where I was taken for a ride!!!Now I am very sceptic and wary.This guy seems really different. Should I trust and give it a try or just let it go? He seems different,meaning not asking for anything, we only exchanged email add so far,he says we'll take our time!Well any views are sincerely accepted!
