Lacoste in the 80's? Does anyone remember their mother throwing you into an "alligator" t-shirt ?

Every day to go play outside in the mud? I do! Almost every kid I saw back in the 80's had a Lacoste shirt on. I was just looking through some old pics and noticed that in almost every one of me, my siblings and cousins taken in the summer, we were all wearing them. Every day was just a different colour lol. I will bet my life that my mother didn't spend $45 bucks on them. Especially not for just one. That's how much they cost now!! I couldn't believe it. Does any one else remember wearing this stuff as play clothes?
