If you guys can't look at each other in the eye then that means there is something there but because you are both too shy then you both turn away. If you were able to make her laugh then your half way there. Now that you have noticed that her friends are now looking at you that doesn't mean that she hates you. She probably told her friends that she has a crush on you but like you she is too shy to do anything about it. My only advice to you is to kick you in the rear end and tell you to go and talk to her. The next time you see her in the morning go and talk to her. I think the only reason she pretends to be on the phone when you guys are in the corridor is because she is shy and she is probably afraid to make a fool of herself if you talk to her. You need to find a way to talk to her because right now you are wasting time. And if you don't make the first move then maybe someone else will.
