When was "Girl with the Pearl Earring" written?

It was only a few years ago, 1999, that she wrote it. Pick Pride and Prejudice as your reading ignment. It was published in 1813 and is widely considered one of the best books ever written. It is not hard to read and is filled with a wonderful story and really neat characters.
