Why is so difficult for many Americans to understand the differences between an Ethnicity a Nationality?

haha Americans have pea size brains so they cant resgister that there is other people apart from theirselves. Americans have a civil religion called "Americanism" i mean common...saying the pledge of allegence before school? How sad.
